Devi Kroell resigned from her Company - Sad

by Janelle ~ June 10th, 2010

Devi Kroell has resigned from her namesake company.  Kroell is best known for her exotic skin hobo bags and wood and crystal clutches.  I covet her wood clutches.  A designer of Austrian decent, she started her business is 2004 and won a 2006 CFDA award.  She has two U.S. stores, one on Madison Avenue in New York and one in the Forum Shops in Las Vegas.  Industry observers are guessing that she had a falling out with her financial backers. Sad, sad, sad.

Sale time at Bergdorfgoodman.com, Neimanmarcus.com, Saks.com, Barneys.com and Netaporter.com

by Janelle ~ June 3rd, 2010

All of these sites have some gems hidden among the things you probably don’t want.  I spotted some handsome Gucci handbag styles at www.bergdorfgoodman.com and lots and lots of Christian Louboutin styles at www.barneys.com.  Remember, I didn’t say that the Gucci and Louboutin’s were affordable, just on sale!

I am loving theoutnet.com

by Janelle ~ May 29th, 2010

I am loving the site www.theoutnet.com  I ordered two Pucci items recently (sorry I must have Pucci on my mind).  For both orders, the items shipped the same day that I ordered them and I received them each the next day after ordering.  I returned one of the items and the company processed my return right away and notified me by email.  Why can’t everyone offer service like this?

TheOutNet.com is the sister site to www.netaporter.com. When items on Net-A-Porter go on sale, they are moved to TheOutNet site.  If you sign up for email notifications (like I did) they send an email whenever new sale items hit the site.

Net-A-Porter carries high end designers -everyone from Alexander McQueen to Zac Posen.  They are known for carrying high fashion pieces and for their excellent service.  They offer same day delivery in London and New York.

I am happy to report that their great service extends to their sale site.  Take a peek at www.theoutnet.com now!

Lots of cute Pucci on Ebay

by Janelle ~ May 20th, 2010

If you like Pucci dresses, cover-ups and scarves like I do, there are a lot of cute items currently for sale on ebay.  It looks to me like there is one online merchant who must have bought some Pucci overstock that they are now selling on eBay.  They have an especially good assortment of pareos and scarves.  Their return policy is credit only so if you buy from them, choose carefully.  Happy Shopping.

Anthony Nak Online Sale Ends 5/3

by Janelle ~ April 26th, 2010

Anthony Nak is going out of business.  They have been running an online sale offering 50% to 80% off for some time now.  There are still many great styles left.

Anthony Nak is designed by two Austin, Texas artisans.  Their styles are delicate and showcase semi-precious stones encased in chain link 18k gold.  Their styles are known for their fluidity and have a distinctive look.  My friend Ami is a fan and she reminded me about this great sale!  Check it out at www.anthonynak.com
